Jang Engineer is a licensed public accountant with designations as an FCPA and FCGA. He has managed his own public accounting practice for most of his career and remains actively involved in community initiatives.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors at Habib Canadian Bank since 2001 and serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Conduct Review and Risk Management Committee, where he provides insights on compliance and risk matters, including consumer protection. Additionally, he has been appointed as a member of the Consumer Protection Committee by the Board of Directors, where he contributes to governance and oversight.
