Koker Christensen is a partner at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, where he has practiced law for over 20 years. He is the Co-Leader of the firm’s Financial Services Group, advising banks, insurers, credit unions, fintech companies, and other businesses in the financial sector.
He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, corporate governance, and risk management. He frequently represents clients in dealings with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and other financial regulators. He also serves as a corporate secretary for certain clients.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Habib Canadian Bank and is a member of the Conduct Review and Risk Management Committee. He provides guidance on compliance, risk, and consumer protection matters. He also serves as a member of the Consumer Protection Committee, supporting the Bank’s focus on regulatory and consumer advocacy.
